$ Terms
Keep Me Secure is a free, personal open source project by Robert Keus. It's provided as is, and you use it at your own risk.
Last updated 6 November 2026. By using this website, the hosted URL or the software, you agree to these terms.
Use at your own risk
Keep Me Secure is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind. We don't promise that it's accurate, complete, up to date, secure, or always available.
What it can't do
- It only knows about published advisories and the incidents on our lists, and those lists are not complete. It can miss problems, and it can raise false alarms.
- A "no", or a result with no findings, does not mean you're secure. It's not a security audit, and it's not professional security or legal advice.
- Advisory data comes from third parties, and we don't control whether it's correct.
- You're responsible for your own systems and decisions, including any upgrade you run, whether your agent suggested it or not. Test changes and keep backups.
No liability
As far as the law allows, Robert Keus and the project's contributors are not liable for any damage or loss from using, or not being able to use, Keep Me Secure. That includes security incidents, data loss, downtime, lost profit, and damage from missed or incorrect results.
This doesn't limit any liability that can't legally be limited.
Software license
The software is licensed under the MIT license, which also applies its own terms on warranty and liability.
Fair use of the hosted URL
The hosted URL is free and has rate limits. Don't use it to overload the service, get around its limits, or do anything unlawful. We may block access if needed.
Changes
This is a personal project, so we may change or stop the website, the hosted URL, the lists or these terms at any time, without notice. Changes to this page are visible in the repo's history.
